3 Ways to Worship Daily
Pastor Dan Tabolt

Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. 7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Ps 95:6-7 NKJV

Perhaps there is nothing more telling in the conversion of a person than their worship. For someone that did not know God to bow or kneel down, or to lift up their hands and worship is an action that is out of step with the unconverted soul. The worshipper worships both in private and in public. It is a wonderful personal time when we worship when no one is watching and it does lay the foundation for public worship.

Today however I would share three things that I have learn that help me in public worship. I understand that there is a battle to be won over my body, the world and the devil. My body does not know what to worship, the world thinks it is foolish, and the devil is always accusing me and my brothers and sisters.

First, I have learned that I have to command myself in worship. I do this by doing what I see in the bible, and by taking the postures of worship. Clapping, standing, kneeling, singing and raising my hands are all in this command.

Second I command my soul (my emotions), to “Bless the Lord. By remembering who He is and what he has done for me I find that I become emotionally involved with the Lord.  I set my soul on fire by not just singing, but by entering into the truths of what we are singing.

Third I allow myself to be inspired.  I take my stand with all those who are with me to,  “make His praises glorious.” I believe that my expression of worship should inspire others. I will not let my enemies (the flesh, the world, and the devil) silence me. I look forward to our next time of worship together with you. In Spirit and truth.

Blessings,
Dan
