The founding Pastor, Dan Tabolt, had been pastoring in Beaver Falls, NY prior to this at New Life Fellowship. Our Pastor is called by the Lord to be a church planter and has spent his life and ministry planting and helping plant churches in the north country. Upon feeling a call from the Lord to establish a church in the Boonville area, the Lord was faithful to lead, direct, and establish a new church with the name of Abundant Life Fellowship.
Over the course of the next few years, God began to move on the people of Abundant Life Fellowship, and build this new church family. Quickly the congregation was growing. The church bought it’s first building on State Route 12 on the outskirts of Boonville, NY. The building had been a bar called The Lock Inn, prior to being owned by ALF. Over the course of 15 years the church continued to grow and become an established church in the community. Over time the church grew in attendance to the point that the current building was in need of expanding.
In 1999, Abundant Life Fellowship’s members built a brand new building on the opposite side of Boonville. This past year we celebrated our 10th anniversary in this building. The Lord has been very faithful every step of this journey. To Him be all the glory.
In 2007 the Lord directed again to establish a new church in Lowville, NY. Abundant Life Community Church was started and quickly grew. Now ALCC is looking into their own building and place in the Lowville community. With a focus on family and children, ALCC has developed a very unique family ministry that ministers to all ages of people and needs. It will be truly remarkable to see what God has in store for the next 25 years and beyond.
