"The building was lost, but God's church was still standing."

Our Story
Faithful through every season.
Our Story
Abundant Life Church was founded in 1987 when Pastor Dan Tabolt followed God's call to plant a church in the Boonville area. What began with a small gathering in a restaurant in Constableville soon grew as God transformed lives and built a thriving church family.
Over the years, God faithfully provided every step of the journey. The church purchased its first building before constructing a new worship facility in Boonville in 1999. Abundant Life has also helped plant churches throughout the region, remaining committed to sharing the hope of the Gospel.
In 2019, Pastor Brandon Pitts became the church's second Senior Pastor, continuing the mission of helping people experience a living, growing, and fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ alongside his wife, MaeLeah, and an incredible church family.
In February 2026, our church building was lost in a devastating fire. While the building was gone, the Church was not. God's faithfulness has carried us through this season as we continue to worship, serve, and reach our community together.
Today, we look forward with hope as we prepare to build a new ministry home for future generations. We believe God's faithfulness has brought us this far, and that our greatest days of ministry are still ahead.
What Shapes Abundant Life
Jesus at the Center
Everything that we do flows from our love for Jesus.
The word of god
God's Word informs our faith, leads our teaching and lives.
People matter
We want every person to be seen, known and loved.
real faith bears fruit
Each person is made to know God and to make Him known.
faith rooted in the word of god.
We hold to the truth of scripture and embrace traditional Christian doctrine and principles that help shape our church and faith family. These core principles inform our worship, how we are becoming disciples of Jesus and how we love each other and our community.

THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, fully trustworthy and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. Through Scripture, God reveals His character, His purposes, and His plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12
THE FATHER
We believe in God the Father, the eternal Creator and sovereign Lord of all things. He is holy, loving, faithful, and just, and through Jesus Christ He welcomes us into His family as beloved sons and daughters.
Genesis 1:1; Matthew 6:9; John 3:16; Ephesians 1:3–5; 1 John 3:1
THE SON
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human. He lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to the Father, and will return again as King and Lord.
John 1:1–14; Colossians 1:15–20; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:9–11
THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and actively at work in the world and in every believer. He convicts people of sin, brings new life, dwells within believers, produces spiritual fruit, gives spiritual gifts, and empowers the Church to live faithfully and fulfill its mission.
John 14:16–17; John 16:7–13; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9–16; Galatians 5:22–25; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11
SALVATION
We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—not earned through human effort or good works. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, our sins are forgiven, we are made new, and we receive eternal life with God.
John 3:16–17; Romans 3:23–24; Romans 10:9–10; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:4–7; 2 Corinthians 5:17
