Every child is known, loved and valued at Abundant Life. Our kids and student (teen) ministry is designed to help your child build a strong biblical foundation of faith in a safe and nurturing environment.

Screened Volunteers
Every volunteer serving with children or students completes an application, background check, and ministry screening process before serving. We only allow screened members to serve children. We are committed to placing trusted, caring adults in every ministry environment.
Secure Check-in
Children are checked in through our secure check-in system, providing a safe and organized process for both drop-off and pick-up. Our team works to ensure every child is released only to an approved guardian.
Secure Environments
Our children's ministry areas are designed with safety in mind. Access to ministry spaces is monitored, and only approved volunteers and staff are permitted in designated children's ministry areas during services.
Two-Adult Policy
We follow a two-adult policy whenever possible, meaning no volunteer serves alone with a child. This helps protect both our children and the volunteers who faithfully serve them.
Age-Appropriate Ministry
Every lesson, activity, and classroom experience is intentionally designed to be safe, engaging, and appropriate for each age group so children and students can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Open Communication
We believe parents are the primary spiritual influence in a child's life. Our team is committed to clear communication and is always available to answer questions or discuss your child's experience.

Questions Parents Ask:
Where do my kids go?
- Following a time of singing, we release our children for kids church.
- For ages 0-2, we provide a safe and seperate nursery. Follow signed directly outside of the worship space to the nursery.
- Ages 3-Grade 6 go to the school gymnasium for their class. They are divided into 3 different classes based on age. There is a checkin table by the gymnasium for any new families. This process only takes a moment to ensure we provide your child with the best experience.
- Locations for our Student Ministry (Grades 7-12) happens in a variety of locations during this season. We meet on Sunday nights from 5p-7p.
How does check in work?
Our checkin process is designed to be efficient while collecting only the absolute necessary information from parents. This includes child allergy notes, parent notes, contact information for parents as well as some other relevant details. This process takes place directly outside of our kids church area by the school gymnasium.
What safety practices are in place?
Your child's safety is one of our highest priorities. Every children's ministry volunteer is carefully screened, background checked, and trained to provide a safe, welcoming environment. We utilize a secure check-in/check-out system, maintain age-appropriate classroom ratios, and follow established safety and emergency procedures so parents can enjoy the service with confidence.
Can my child stay with me, or may I attend Kids Church with them?
Absolutely! Children are always welcome to remain with you during the worship service if you prefer. If you choose Kids Church, we ask that only approved volunteers remain in the children's ministry areas to help us maintain a safe, secure environment for every child. We'd be happy to give you a tour of our children's facilities before or after the service so you can see where your child will be learning and growing.
