Our Story

Read about the history of Abundant Life
Abundant Life Fellowship was started more than 25 years ago in a small restaurant in Constableville, NY.  The restaurant was called, The Alpine.  The founding pastor, Dan Tabolt, had been pastoring in Beaver Falls, NY prior to this at New Life Fellowship.  Upon feeling a call from the Lord to plant a church in this area, different pieces of this puzzle began to come together.  The first gathering that took place only had 3 or 4 attendees.  Over time, the small group of believers grew larger.
Over the course of the next few years, God began to move on the people of Abundant Life Fellowship and soon the congregation was growing.  The church bought it’s first building on State Route 12 on the outskirts of Boonville, NY.  The building had been a bar in its previous existence.  Many great things happened in that church as God lived and moved among the people of Abundant Life Fellowship.  Over time the church grew in numbers to the point that the current building was in need of expanding.

In 1999, Abundant Life Fellowship’s members made the decision to build a new facility for worship services on the opposite side of Boonville.  In 2009, ALF celebrated it’s 10th anniversary in this building.  The Lord has been very faithful every step of this journey.  The focus of Abundant Life has always been to see people grow in the Lord and to experience His life changing plan of salvation.  This is echoed in ALF’s vision statement which is to bring people into a living, growing, and fruitful relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and with His church.

Abundant Life has been involved in several brand new church plants and it has been prophesied over this house that it would be a house with a prophetic, and apostolic calling to this region.  Healthy churches have been planted in Camden and Lowville during this process.
